2. Favorite newish band:

After being back in radio after 25 plus years I am kind of out of the loop when it comes to local live bands, ( I don't get around much anymore).  However going national but keeping it local...Jazz vocalist Gregory Porter and his band, which features St. Louis bass man Jamal Nichols, & drummer Emanuel Harrold.

3. Last live music show attended:

Locally: Uvee Hayes Blues Band @ the Blue Strawberry Showroom & Lounge. Concert: Ahmad Jamal (Live at the Sheldon) Herlin Riley on drums, James Cammack on bass

4. Best live act ever seen: 

I will have to say I have never experienced a live concert like that of my first concert when I was a child.  A line-up of the biggest 60's R&B artist.  I know for sure that James Brown was one of the acts.  I thought the entire concert was the greatest thing in the world.

5. Favorite KDHX Show (besides your own):

Not a fair question, and since it isn't fair I will answer unfairly by giving you a few of my favorites, because if you love music you LOVE KDHX. Lotsa A Capella (Marjie Kennedy), The Old Soul Harmony Show (DJ Boogie Ray), Nothin' But the Blues (Ron Edwards).
