Show Description:
Yo Yooo This the big homie DJ STF MO... that’s DJ S-T-F MO - If you ain’t know, now you know, ya dig!! Make sure you tune in and tap in with Block Boogie Radio on 88.1 KDHX where we don’t dance - we boogie. Jamming all the hood bangers you probably heard while you was working on the dock or maybe screaming out those 15-inch woofers beating down the block.
What would would you like to share with KDHX listeners and readers about yourself?
• DJ STF MO (AKA) DA BIGG HOMIE
• Local party DJ/local rapper
• Love Hip Hop/Reggae/R&B
• Born and raised in St Louis MO
• Prefer to be in tune with hardcore street music from east/west/south to the north
• It's a 2hr boogie session every Monday 9pm-11pm
Please describe the inspiration for your show.
Block boogie radio is not only 'all good in da' hood' but it's a way to escape the weirdo thangs presented by everyday pressures at least for two hours. By vibin' out to some of the best/classic hip hop/reggae/R&B tracks wit' a double dash of facts 'FO YO BACKS BIH.'
Why does being a KDHX DJ matter to you?
Being a DJ on KDHX not only helps me polish my lil' skills ... but hopefully brings an edge of good entertainment to other listeners while doing "life" as we know it ... no matter age ... height ... him/her ... naked or furr 'WE IN THURR YA DIGG!!'
Why is KDHX important to you and to your community?
KDHX is important to me as the rest of the community ... it's a refreshing FREE way to 'expand' your musical crave ... so many varieties and as I'm learning ... much more than music ... reminds me of channel 9 back in the day ... a lot of information is here you just gotta' look.
What are some of your favorite KDHX shows?
I listen to a lot of 'em ... I like them all for different reasons ... like of course my homie, Iceman ... no explanation needed. DJ Speed be clownin'... my homies Bass Amp and Matt are pure entertainment!!! I even ride out on Block Boogie Radio until the next Monday's session ... y'all get the point.
What record do you think everyone should have in their music library?
Honestly, everyone should have AT LEAST ONE SONG from Michael Jackson, Prince, James Brown, and Parliament.
Favorite thing you are listening to at the moment?
Being that it's a lowrider (lo-lo) session...I'm kind of focused on that type of vibe ... got a few gigs to get ready for... so pretty much oldies and dippin' music!!
