KDHX will be 32 this month and we want to show our appreciation for those folks who have kept us on the air since 1987. 

Through October 14th, 2019, one lucky donor and/or contest entrant will be selected at random to win two tickets to Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky, a four night all-inclusive concert vacation in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky will be January 18–22 at the Hard Rock Hotel Resort and will feature performances by Wilco, Courtney Barnett, Sharon Van Etten, Kamasi Washington, Dr. Dog and more on the beach in Mexico. 1. How to Enter the Contest

a. You can submit your entry starting on October 1, 2019. All entries must be received by KDHX no later than 11:59pm, October 1, 2019. All times are Central Time.

b. To participate in the contest, you can fill out the ONLINE FORM, by 11:59pm, October 14, 2019. 

c. KDHX is not responsible for a submission that is lost, undelivered or misdirected, or for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.

d. From all entries, ONE grand prize winner will be chosen at random on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. The winner will be notified by email. Prize must be claimed within 24 hours.

2. Eligibility Restrictions

The contest is open to adults (21 years or older). Employees of KDHX, its contest sponsors, volunteers managing the contest, and the members of their households are ineligible to participate in the contest or win. Only one entry per person will be considered.

3. The Prize Description

a. The prize will include:

One (1) double occupancy (2 guests) room to Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky January 18-22, 2020 at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico (includes all taxes / fees)

b. The prize has a total estimated retail value of $3,500.

c. All costs and expenses not specifically listed in the above prize description are the responsibility of the winner. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of any prize permitted, except by Sponsor.

d. The station reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or canceled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

e. The winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. The winner is responsible for all fees and expenses associated with the acceptance, use and/or misuse of the prize not expressly included in the prize description. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

f. The prize will be distributed by Contest Sponsor.

4. Selection of Winner

a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. The grand prize winner will be selected at random on Tuesday, October 14, 2019 from all entries received by the deadline on Monday, October 14, 2019, and the first selected eligible contestant will be contacted as the winner of the contest.

c. Entrants need not be present to win. The winner will be contacted by email. If the winner does not claim the prize within 24 hours of notification, that contestant will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected and notified in order from the alternate entries drawn.

5. Conditions

a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. The winner must also sign a prize receipt and certify compliance with all eligibility requirements prior to release of the prize.

c. KDHX, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the KDHX Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules.

d. Additional travel costs and other expenses associated with the fulfillment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner and not the responsibility of KDHX or the Contest Sponsor.

6. Right to Make Changes

KDHX reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest. There is no substitution, transfer, assignment, or cash equivalent for prizes.

7. No Purchase Required

No purchase or donation is necessary.

8. Responsibilities

KDHX is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize, or cancellation of the performance.

9. Copies of the Contest Rules
