OneSTL Sustainability Lab

T-Rex in the Historic Lammert Building

Products that we use every day can have drastic environmental impacts during their entire lifecycle; from production, to use, to disposal. Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy approach that aims to create accountability at all of the stages of a product's lifecycle, whether it's paint, tires, batteries or mattresses. At this month's Lab we'll hear from members of the Product Stewardship Institute about current trends in EPR and what's going on in Missouri and Illinois regarding adoption of EPR legislation.
