About Brother Dan

Dan Kinney is an audio engineer that cut his teeth in the Zappa realm. Brother Dan saw his first FZ show in 1975 at age 10 and has been an avid fan ever since. In 1981 he followed the band for extended periods and became very friendly with members of the production crew and members of the rocking teenage combo. This led to being a part of the road team loading and unloading in the white zone for the next three tours. In 2001 he started working with Ike Willis and Project/Object which led him on the path to bring Zappa to the masses by any means necessary!
